I might as well go all "thread" with this.
I expect most everyone in my follower circle already realize that a large portion of the public health journal articles in our area are pure junk science (and that is the charitable interpretation).
The “preprint” (terrible term) explosion has prompted journos and researchers to warn readers papers might not be right and need expert interpretation.
Now if they can just figure out this generalizes to journal articles, that would be real progress.
