I smoked for 19 years. I tried quitting about 3 or 4 times during those years, but would always start back. I think the longest I went was 4 months without a cigarette. In February 2015, my partner and I decided to switch to vaping. We bought a clearomizer to share to try out and within 3 days we felt a difference in our overall health. My lungs didn’t hurt in the mornings when I woke up and after some more time went by I wasn’t out of breath so easily, headaches were a lot less frequent, and I didn’t feel drained of energy. Now a year and 3 months later I am still cigarette free and wouldn’t go back to smoking over vaping. I have weened myself down from 12 mg of nicotine to 1.5 mg now and that is a lot lower than what I’d get with a cigarette. Vaping helps smokers quit or have a habit that is safer.
