As a RN I was well aware of the dangers of continuing to smoke and even the loss of my father, a physician, to lung cancer, was not enough to make me give up my nicotine addiction. I knew about vaping when it was first introduced but the e-cigarettes I tried were heavy, made of metal and the vape liquid was not satisfying. Fast forward 3 years when a nephew introduced me to the updated version of vaping and instructed me well on its proper use. Shockingly, I was able to quit smoking after only 2 weeks on vaping. Further, I started to make my own vaping liquid and gradually reduced the nicotine content over a period of 8 months to such a low amount that I was able to quit smoking with little difficulty. So, I smoked for 44 years, vaped for 8 months and am now a non-smoker and have been a non-smoker for over 3 years. This is God’s honest truth and I am so thankful.
