I am nearly 21 years old. I started smoking when I was 18 and in the last year I really noticed a decline in my physical ability (I am a pretty athletic individual). I had trouble playing sports that involved a lot of running and could not keep up without experiencing pain in my lungs and occasionally my chest. I was not a pack a day smoker, but did smoke about 4-5 a day for about a year straight at the longest during my nearly 3 years of smoking. I decided to look into vaping after I learned it was a much healthier alternative to smoking. In the 4+ months since I have started, not only have I stopped smoking for good (admittedly with a few hiccups along the way) I have also found a hobby that supports critical thinking (when building coils and setups) as well as a healthier lifestyle. I don’t know if I would have been able to quit cigarettes for good if it were not for vaping. Using vaping to quit cigarettes and other tobacco products WORKS and it also provides a way for teens and young adults to never try tobacco products in the first place. I hope anyone reading this that is looking to quit tobacco products/smoking will be able to experience what I have for themselves and better their health.
