I understand there are health and financial incentives on both sides of the debate over vaping. That said, it allowed me to quit a terrible addiction with ease over the course of several years.
I smoked a pack a day – sometimes more – for more than 15 years. I switched entirely to vaping in 2015, and over the course of 2 years slowly lowered the nicotine content of the ejuice I used. Today I am nicotine free and no longer vape at all.
This would not have been possible without vaping. I had previously tried every method imaginable: counseling, patches, gum, prescription medication, literally everything. None of it worked for me when, and like, vaping did.
I hate the idea of children (or adults for that matter) picking up a habit like vaping because they think it’s “cool.” There is responsibility on the vaping industry to self police marketing in this respect. That said, the power of vaping as a tool to help smokers like myself is real.
Today I can exercise without being winded. I wake up without coughing. I no longer waste hundreds per month on cigarettes. I don’t smell like smoke. I get sick less often, and heal more quickly. I don’t dread long plane trips. This list could go on and on. Thank you vaping!
