In my quest to find a way to actually quit smoking, although vaping was never put in those terms it actually is a way to quit. I am sceptic at heart because I tried to quit for so many years using the patch, gum, Chantix (that was crazy) and more. I am old (41) I smoked for 30 LONG years, & nearly 2 packs a day. I finally QUIT smoking cigarettes 3/26/15 – the day I started vaping now almost two months ago. I am even surprised. I actually liked to smoke. but in january I was starting to get chest pain, I couldn’t breath easy at all. I get winded just doing laundry. I guess 30 years of cigarette smoking will do that to you. I also had gum recession, and a multitude of other side effects that began. I was young when I started smoking- no ID needed back then- a pack was 1.11 if you can believe that. But I am so happy to have quit, I feel so free. I have no more chest pains. I think if I had kept smoking I would have ended up down a very, very bad road. Chest pain, difficulty breathing was just the beginning.
